Air traffic to, from, and within Africa is expected to grow by about 6.1 percent annually over the next 20 years as airplane technology continues to increase fuel efficiency, opening new international routes that were previously unattainable. Flights between Africa and Europe continue to account for the largest share of the region’s air travel.
One of the aims of the African Air Show is to highlight the importance of infrastructure within aviation, this includes airport procurement, supplies, solutions and technology.
